Scholarships

The Ames High Speech and Drama Booster Club is offering multiple $500 academic scholarships for graduating seniors. Awarded scholarships must be used for qualified education expenses including tuition, fees, and course-related expenses. 

Current Application Deadline: APRIL 2, 2026

You must be logged into a Google Account to complete the application. Students should use their school account to apply. 

The scholarship application consists of two parts:

Participation: Documenting your participation in speech and/or drama at Ames High School. (10 points)

Essay: An essay response (not to exceed 1000 words total) to be attached at the end of the application. (20 points) 

• Essay Questions are part of the form, but can be found at the beginning of the application to allow applicants to work on them separately before copying and pasting the responses into the appropriate fields.
